About The Therapy

My work reflects my understanding that loss and grief are an expected part of life and not restricted to the period following a bereavement. As a result, I work with people who are grieving from a wide range of losses.

I trained in psychodynamic and existential theories but work in a way that can best be described as ‘integrative’. This means that I use a variety of skills and techniques that are most suited to you as an individual and the goals you want to achieve through counselling. As an Accredited and Registered Member of the BACP I work in accordance with the BACP’s Ethical framework.

Many people find that 6 – 12 sessions will make significant changes to their lives. For others, longer term work best fits their needs and goals. We will work together to achieve a counselling intervention tailored to suit you as an individual.

I charge £40 for an initial consultation so we can see if it feels like a good fit for us to work together. My fees are £60 per session thereafter. Sessions last 50 minutes and reduced fees are available when blocks of 6 sessions are booked and paid for in advance. I am able to see a limited number of clients at a concessionary rate, so please feel free to contact me to discuss this if the above fees are cost prohibitive.
